Michal Matys is one of the first pioneers in Czech freestyle events organizing. Beside his good promotion skills he still riding MTB bike and past few years snowscoot also! We are very proud to bid welcome this complete PRO rider on board of MEATFLY team. Upcoming seasson we target together again on MF funbox series and other great events not only in Summer time.

 Short report about China by Matti

 Hey everybody,
I just got home from the one-week-trip to China which was such a cool experience!
I was there for Nanshan Open 4star TTR contest and had some fun times at Beijing too.
The weather was pretty damn cold, about -20 degrees all the time but I'm used to that as a finnish dude, not a big deal! In the contest I ended up 6th place which was ok due we split the prize money with the finalists :). Had some tough problems with the speed cause it was pretty windy at the contest day but so had everybody.
The Peijing was too huge to even understad how big it was and soo much people there. And damn we had some crazy ass parties over there!!
If you have a chance to go to China I'd say do it. But it's probably even more cool in summer time...But watch out people don't speak english that much there :)

 

V sobotu 9. ledna se v Mariánských Lázních odjel evropský pohár ve šponérském stylu mezi brankami součást O2 SNB tour. Z našeho pohledu nejzajmavější byla v tento den jibbingová exhibice v podání Meatfly riderů Pavla Kupčíka, Kubo Brziaka, Honzy Kaňůrka a Jardy Pekaře. Doplnili je i další hosté z jiných crew jako byl např. Honza Zajíc a Ondra Bauer. Na sjezdovce přímo před podiem se odehrávaly na třech překážkách přímo snowboardové kouzla a úroveň byla víc než dobrá! Škoda jen, že lidi tuto „disciplínu“ ještě moc neznají a doslova jim zamrzly huby! Proto se už můžete těšit na další ročník, kdy by se mělo opět přistoupit k variantě letecké, tedy skoku jak má být!
